Why we’re NOT calling ourselves sustainable? Because honesty matters more than marketing.

The word sustainable is EVERYWHERE.
And while we share many of the same values people associate with sustainability, we’ve made a conscious decision NOT to call ourselves a sustainable fashion brand.
Not because we don’t care. But because we do!
Words matter. And so does action.
We know that words like sustainable, eco-friendly, and green are often used to sell products that are anything but. And while there are some truly meaningful efforts being made in the fashion world, there’s also a lot of noise and a lot of marketing spin.
So rather than making broad claims, we’re choosing to be specific about what we stand for.
We’re committed to ethical commerce. Here’s what that looks like for us:
- We aim to use organic and recycled materials across everything we do. Not just to tick boxes, but because these fabrics help us create high-quality pieces that feel good, perform well, and last longer.
- We work only with people we trust and who treat their people well. Our manufacturers are based in Portugal, where production standards are high and workers are paid fairly. No one should be exploited so that others can look good.
- We design with purpose. Every piece we create is made to fit petite women beautifully, last beyond trends, and be easy to care for.
So you spend more time wearing it, and less time worrying about it. - We believe clothes should be functional, beautiful, and built to last. Practicality matters. So does joy. We want our pieces to do both.
No greenwashing. Just thoughtful decisions.
We’re not claiming to have all the answers. But we’re sure asking the right questions at every step.
What materials perform best? How do they wear and wash? Who made this, and how were they treated?
Slow fashion isn’t just about fabrics. It’s about values. It’s about respect. It’s about choosing fewer, better things, and making those things count.
That’s what we believe in.
So, are we sustainable?
We’ll let others decide what label fits us. What we can say is this:
We’re doing our very best to build something better. Something honest. Something meaningful.
Not just for today, but for years to come.
